As a nationally published craft designer, she made a move into the graphics field when she purchased her first desktop computer and loaded up a very early version of a then bare bones graphics program.
She now spends her days photographing a wide variety of subjects, ranging from people to wildlife and her evenings transforming many of those same subjects into paintings. In her free time she designs templates and other assorted graphics to accompany her artistic visions in ways that other products just were not accomplishing for her. She also is the author of numerous published articles covering topics such as family, collectibles, and crafts, and is the author of several children’s stories. She lives in the woods of Wisconsin with her husband and teenage son and their menagerie of dogs, one cat and a bird. She is also mother to two adult children and Nana to one.
